The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) has cut up with a breakaway group, claiming to be the ‘actual’ organisation, appointing Rajesh Chauhan as the brand new chief.
Naresh Tikait has been faraway from the president’s publish and so has BKU spokesman Rakesh Tikait.
The event came about on the dying anniversary of BKU founder Mahendra Singh Tikait in Lucknow.
Rajesh Chauhan instructed reporters that the Tikait brothers have been attempting to politicise the organisation which was unacceptable to farmers.
“We’re an apolitical organisation and can stay so,” mentioned Chauhan.
Rakesh Tikait couldn’t be contacted for his remark.
