TONKAWA, Okla. — A 19-year-old Grayslake man and two different College of Oklahoma meteorology college students had been killed in a crash late Friday when their automobile was struck by a tractor-trailer rig in northern Oklahoma, based on a crash report. The scholars had been touring again from chasing a strong twister in Kansas, officers confirmed.
Gavin Wanting Grayslake; Nicholas Nair, 20, of Denton, Texas; and Drake Brooks, 22, of Evansville, Indiana, died within the crash shortly earlier than 11:30 p.m. Friday, based on an Oklahoma Freeway Patrol report.
The three had been in a automobile being pushed by Nair southbound on Interstate 35 when the automobile hydroplaned in Tonkawa, about 85 miles north of Oklahoma Metropolis, the report stated.
