Excessive-value dairy exports help near-record gross sales

The U.S. Dairy Export Council says exports in March almost matched the earlier 12 months’s document for the month.

Complete export values in March have been up 25 % from 2021 to $860 million whereas the quantity declined by one %.

Exports of cheese have been up 13 %, with cheddar up almost 90 %, as world client demand for U.S. cheese grows.

Export volumes remained subdued based on the council as tight milk provides, robust home demand, excessive costs, and provide chain logistics restrict motion.  The U.S. continues to see elevated shipments of higher-value merchandise like cheese, butter, and protein concentrates.
