Mayurbjanj quack again administers livestock injections to patient, FIR registered

A quack who lately administered injections meant for animals to a person in Mayurbhanj district has reportedly injected one other affected person with the livestock medicine.        

A case has been registered in opposition to the quack recognized as Biswanath Behera for administering injections to Daitari Mahanta at Mahulidiha village below Thakuramunda block within the district on Monday.

Mahanta, who was affected by extended again ache, was allegedly administered three livestock injections by the quack to get reduction from the ailment.

As per studies, Behera launched himself as a brand new physician from Bhubaneswar. Following the check-up, he allegedly administered three livestock injections to Daitari.

Later within the night, Daitari complained of extreme headache and stomachache. He was instantly admitted to Thakurmunda hospital as his situation deteriorated.

“I used to be affected by extended again ache. As per the reassurance of Behera, I used to be administered the injections at a value of Rs 500. Initially, I felt a bit of reduction. However later my ache grew to become insufferable,” stated Daitari.

Subsequently, Daitari’s son Gajendra Mahanta inquired concerning the injections which had been administered to his father. To his utter shock, he discovered that the injections had been meant for livestock.

Ganjedra lodged an FIR in opposition to the quack within the close by police station following the incident. Police have registered a case on this connection and launched a manhunt to nab the perpetrator.

Notably, the quack had allegedly administered livestock injections to a different affected person within the space a number of days again.
